The apps functionality is pretty solid, although there is one thing we find annoying, which is that you are almost unable to see the image someone sent you without opening it, as the thumbnail for it is pretty small. The major part of the window is reserved for the actual chat, which doesn't offer anything you aren't used to, if you are familiar with Messenger, WhatsApp, or Snapchat. Above you can see your profile icon which opens various settings when you click it. You can see your recent chats at the left part of the screen. The app's interface feels somewhat empty. The design of the app is as simple as it gets, with grayscale design or white design mixed with light blue color, famous for Skype. Those days are gone as every other app has a video-call feature, but nonetheless let's see how Skype keeps up on the Windows platform.
